Carolina, Puerto Rico InterContinental San Juan Resort & Casino March 4th - 6th We started our vacation by getting up really early for our 6:05 am flight to San Juan. We arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico at 1:00 pm to beautiful blue and sunny sky! We started our trip at the InterContinental San Juan Resort &Casino in Carolina, Puerto Rico. The area is also known as Isla Verde. This is the front of the InterContinental. Lobby Area of the Hotel Lobby Area The hotel is updated in the common areas such as the lobby, pool, and restaurants. The rooms are older, which I did not think you could really tell. We had a smaller standard room for our first stay and then on our second stay we had a bigger room similar to the first one.
