Samana, Dominican Republic Abroad NCL Pearl January 18th This was part of our honeymoon trip in January. We didn't specifically go to Samana, but we were right across the waterway from it so I will be writing about Cayo Levenado. Samana was our first stop of four abroad the NCL Pearl. We choose to do this shore excursion mostly due to the fact that Samana is very undeveloped and didn't have much that interested us. Our day started off with us waiting for our group to be called so we could tender directly off the cruise ship to smaller boats to take us to the island. I thought the wait was going to be longer but it turned out to go much faster then I thought. When we got to the boat to tender there were two men helping people into the boats and then off we were!
