St. Maarten/St. Martin March 12, 2011 Our last port was St. Maarten. It was a sad day because we did not want our trip to end but we were really excited about this island. Our excursion was a beach day to St. Martin! Both islands are gorgeous and the bus ride to Orient Beach gave us some great views. It also allowed us to learn about both islands.  Once we were to Orient Beach we were shown to a section of beach chairs in front of a restaurant that were ours for the day. We were then left to our own desire for about three or four hours to do whatever. We ended up playing in the water a lot because the ocean was so calm. We also walked the beach, which featured other resorts and some private condo's. The excursion featured a free lunch, which I cannot remember the type of food at all but it was good from what I remembered.  The views were spectacular and it was a great end to one of our dream vacations. St. Thomas, USVI March  7, 2011 We had been to St. Thomas the year before on our Honeymoon cruise so much of the excursions were similar to the year before. After not really finding anything worth the money to do we decided to just make that a more casual day by hanging around the port and going into Charlotte Amalie.  After getting up and enjoying a leisurely morning we got off the ship around lunch time and headed to Hooters. I know they have them in the states but we enjoy the food and atmosphere when we went the year before that we definitely wanted to stop back again.  The one thing we wanted to check out was the Skyride up to Paradise Point. My in-laws raved about the views and their pictures came out great. I would definitely recommend saving the money and just doing this yourself without the cruise line. It's right near the port so you do not have to walk very far and you can find discounted coupons in all the maps and books they hand out around the...
