Our last port was St. Maarten. It was a sad day because we did not want our trip to end but we were really excited about this island. Our excursion was a beach day to St. Martin! Both islands are gorgeous and the bus ride to Orient Beach gave us some great views. It also allowed us to learn about both islands. 

Once we were to Orient Beach we were shown to a section of beach chairs in front of a restaurant that were ours for the day. We were then left to our own desire for about three or four hours to do whatever. We ended up playing in the water a lot because the ocean was so calm. We also walked the beach, which featured other resorts and some private condo's. The excursion featured a free lunch, which I cannot remember the type of food at all but it was good from what I remembered.  The views were spectacular and it was a great end to one of our dream vacations. On the way back your were able to see more of both islands. They offered to drop you off either in town to shop (you had to find your own way back to port) or be dropped back off at the port. We choose to go back to the port to shop for some souvenirs and then go back to the ship to relax.

Florida Keys Review

  Florida Keys April 3rd-8th, 2021 Our Florida Keys trip was for Spring Break 2021. This was the first visit for my family, buy my in-laws who travelled with us have been a few times. We flew direct from Cleveland to Miami and then Miami - Charlotte - Cleveland return flight. Once in Miami we rented a car and drove down to the keys.  Day 1: We arrived in Miami around 10am or so. It's definitely a bar type restaurant, but for a quick lunch it did the trick plus the patio is nice and overlooks the ocean. Great views especially after being on an airplane all morning. 31 Days 2013: Weight Loss!!!

Today has been an awesome day from start to finish!! Things just seem to falling in place and that makes me very happy as well as way less stressed. The best news of the day is that I lost more weight!!!! For those that were not aware I have been actively trying to lost weight since after I had Lexi. Well I lost the 25lbs of baby weight I gained in April, but wanted to lose more. So from that point on I started really focusing on losing weight. It already helped that I stopped having Starbucks multiple times a month and sometimes a week as well as pretty much stopped eating out. At home I focused more on healthier menu options as well as potion control. I also started tracking my food with MyFitnessPal . I truly believe those three things helped me continue losing weight because all I did for working out was walk. A Guide to Maui with Kids!

This blog has been a long time coming, but I've entered a new phase of life where one kid is at school all day and another is gone two mornings of the week. I've been trying to figure out besides running and basic household stuff what to do with all this time! I'm gonna give this blog thing another shot.
