31 Days 2013 - Prioritize
Today was the first day in awhile that I didn't think about all the stress I've been under and just enjoyed life. I spent the day playing and teaching my little girl all sorts of fun things. It really made me appreciate my husband and all the hard work he does so I can be a stay-at-home mom. It always made me realize that I need to prioritize what is important to me. I feel like this could be a big help in deciding what I want out of life.
Once we had Lexi it became very clear that how life was before would not work any longer. It took me a few months to understand that I couldn't be the same person I was before when it came to how certain aspects of my life were. For instance, I always liked a very clean house. As this year has progressed I realize I rather spend time with my family then worry about the few dirty dishes or the pile of laundry. I still take time to clean the house and do laundry but I am not so type A about it all now, which is extremely nice.
I think that once I figure out what my other priorities in life are then it can help guide me toward a career and job that would suit me. I know that it is highly unlikely that I will actually get all my proprieties in one job, but even just getting the top two would be nice. I will be updating this post during the weekend when I finalize my list of career priorities. I need some time to think about what exactly I want and what types of career fields I will be able to get into.
